ONSERVATION
Placing in conservation is intended to ensure the protection of the machine against corrosion
from the environment and against minor damage that may occur during handling, transport and

storage.

Return the machine to good condition before placing it in conservation.
1. Clean all the parts.
2. Apply greasing oil and grease to the machine's metal surfaces and replace the engine oil.
3. To avoid condensation in the fuel tank, drain the tank or fill it up.
4. Apply a small quantity of rust protector to the exposed parts of the hydraulic cylinder rod.
5. The battery must be disconnected. If the storage period exceeds one month, the battery must
be removed and stored in a special room.
6. Make sure the liquid in the cooling system has sufficient performance characteristics and is
appropriate for the machine's storage temperatures.

The machine rusts easily if it is left near the sea or in a place exposed to sea winds. Apply
rust protector to all the exposed parts of the piston rods and cover the machine with a
polyethylene sheet or oiled paper. Certain rust protection solvents damange rubber mate-
rials. Make sure you use an adapted rust protector.
