[B-3] DELETING THE FAULT CODES
To delete the fault codes, use the Yamaha diagnostic tool. For information about deleting the fault
codes, refer to the operation manual of the Yamaha diagnostic tool.
Check that all the displayed fault codes are deleted.
Connecting the Yamaha diagnostic tool
Remove the protective cap "1", and then connect the Yamaha diagnostic tool to the coupler.

CAN communication (between FI ECU and hydraulic unit assembly)
Transmitted data from the FI ECU cannot be normally received.
Check or maintenance job
Replace if there is an open or short circuit.
• Between FI ECU and joint coupler.
(blue/white–blue/white)

• Between joint coupler and ABS ECU coupler.
(blue/white–blue/white)

Replace the FI ECU.
Replace the hydraulic unit assembly.

Transmitted data from the IMU cannot be normally received.
Check or maintenance job
• Check the coupler for any pins that may be pulled out.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect the cou-
pler securely.
TIP
Turn the main switch to "OFF" before disconnecting or
connecting a coupler.
Replace if there is an open or short circuit.
• Between IMU and joint coupler.

Replace the IMU.
Replace the hydraulic unit assembly.
