The neutral indicator light fails to come on.
1. Check the neutral switch.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
SWITCHES" on page 8-177.

2. Check the relay unit (diode).
Refer to "CHECKING THE RELAY
UNIT (DIODE)" on page 8-185.
OK
3. Check the entire signaling system's
wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 8-29.

Replace the meter assembly.
The oil pressure and coolant temperature warning light fails to come on when the main switch is set
to "ON".
1. Check the entire signaling system's
wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 8-29.

2. Disconnect the oil pressure switch
lead from the oil pressure switch,
and then check whether the oil pres-
sure and coolant temperature warn-
ing light comes on when the lead is
connected to the engine ground.
OK
Replace the oil pressure switch.
The oil pressure and coolant temperature warning light remains on after the engine is started.
1. Check the entire signaling system's
wiring.

2. Measure the engine oil pressure.

Replace the oil pressure switch.
