c. Tighten both locknuts.
TIP
Be sure to place the shift rod joints in parallel.
The allowable twist of the shift rod joints is ±5 .
Shift rod locknut
7 Nm (0.7 m·kgf, 5.1 ft·lbf)
d. Make sure the installed shift rod length is
within specification.
