Removing the Fuel Tank (continued)

To prevent damage to the fuel hoses, numerous cable ties are
used to secure the hoses to the machine components. Record the
location of all cable ties that are removed from the machine during
the fuel tank removal so that they can be properly replaced during
the tank installation.
8. Loosen the hose clamps and carefully disconnect the fuel supply and return
(items 17 and 2 in
sender.
9. Cover or plug the fuel hoses or fitting openings to prevent contamination
from entering the fuel system.
