Recording a picture
Shooting in the dark
– NightShot/Super NightShot/
Colour Slow Shutter
You can shoot a subject in a dark place. For
example, you can satisfactorily record the
environment of nocturnal animals for
observation when you use this function.
Using NightShot
Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or MEMORY
(except DCR-TRV16E/TRV116E), slide
NIGHTSHOT to ON.
The
and "NIGHTSHOT" indicators flash on
the screen.
To cancel the NightShot mode, slide
NIGHTSHOT to OFF.
Using Super NightShot
The Super NightShot mode makes subjects more
than 16 times brighter than those recorded in the
NightShot mode.
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, slide
NIGHTSHOT to ON. The
"NIGHTSHOT" indicators flash on the screen.
(2) Press SUPER NS. The
NIGHTSHOT" indicators flash on the screen.
To return the NightShot mode, press SUPER
NS again.
