Alarm Output

Power supply unit has alarm output contact. It can output alarm signal to outside when an error occurs.
Relay contact of alarm output is closed when power is turned on, and it is opened when the system
watchdog timer of the ELC500 is activated due to a hardware error or program malfunction.
System watchdog timer is the timer to detect a hardware error or program malfunction.
When the system watchdog timer is activated, 'ALARM' LED on the front turns on. If the power supply
unit is connected, 'ALARM' contact of the power supply unit is activated at the same time.
At this time, all output signals of output unit turn off and stop. In addition, it becomes completely
inoperative state, and communication with the tool software also stops.
