Shift Indicator Panel
Adjustment
SRS components are located in this area. Review the
SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures
in the SRS (section 24) before performing repairs or ser-
vice.
1. Check that the index mark of the indicator aligns
with the N mark of the shift indicator panel with the
transmission in NEUTRAL.
2. If not aligned, remove the center console panel (see
section 20).
3. Remove the shift indicator panel mounting screws,
and move the panel to adjust it. Then reinstall the
panel as described above.
