Replace the Mains Power Fuse

To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal injury, replace a
blown fuse with exact replacement only for continued protection against
arc flash.
Access the line-power fuse on the rear panel. The fuse rating is 5 A/250 V slow blow fuse
when the Calibrator is set to 100 V/120 V line voltage, 2.5 A/250 V slow blow when the
Calibrator is set to 220 V/240 V line voltage. Fuses that are not user replaceable are
shown in the "Maintenance" section of Chapter 7.
To examine or replace the fuse, see Figure 7-1 and continue as follows:
1. Disconnect line power.
2. Open the fuse compartment. Put a screwdriver blade into tab on the left side of the
compartment and carefully pry until it can be removed with the fingers.
3. Remove the fuse from the compartment for replacement or verification. Be sure the
correct fuse is installed.
4. Put the fuse compartment into the Calibrator. Push it into position until the tab locks.
