Crossing the reference point in a tilted working plane
Danger of collision!
Make sure that the angle values entered in the menu
for tilting the working plane match the actual angles
of the tilted axis.
Deactivate the "Tilt Working Plane" function before
you cross the reference points. Take care that there
is no collision. Retract the tool from the current
position first, if necessary.
The TNC automatically activates the tilted working plane if this
function was enabled when the control was switched off. Then
the TNC moves the axes in the tilted coordinate system when
an axis-direction key is pressed. Position the tool in such a way
that a collision is excluded during the subsequent crossing of
the reference points. To cross the reference points you have
to deactivate the "Tilt Working Plane" function, See "To activate
manual tilting:", page 427.
If you use this function, then for non-absolute
encoders you must confirm the positions of the
rotary axes, which the TNC displays in a pop-up
window. The position displayed is the last active
position of the rotary axes before switch-off.
If one of the two functions that were active before is active
now, the NC START button has no function. The TNC outputs a
corresponding error message.
