frame format for no-protocol mode commu-
nications.
Specifies if an code is to be used in the
frame format for no-protocol mode commu-
nications.
Specifies the number of bytes to be read
when no end code is specified.

The flag will turn ON when the specified
number of bytes has been received.

257th byte of data is received before the
end code is received.
