qos

Use the qos Global Configuration mode command to enable Quality of Service
(QoS) on the device and set the QoS mode. Use the no form of this command to
disable QoS on the device
Syntax
basic
advanced
qos [

no qos
Parameters
basic—QoS basic mode. If no option is specified, the QoS mode defaults to
the basic mode.
advanced—Specifies the QoS advanced mode, which enables the full
range of QoS configuration.
ports-not-trusted—Relevant for advanced mode only. Indicates that
packets, which are not classified by policy map rules to a QoS action, are
mapped to egress queue 0. This is the default setting in advanced mode.
ports-trusted—Relevant for advanced mode only. Indicates that packets,
which are not classified by policy map rules to a QoS action, are mapped to
an egress queue based on the packet's fields. Use the
trust
command to specify the trust mode.
Default Configuration
If qos is entered without any keywords, the QoS basic mode is enabled.
If qos advanced is entered without a keyword, the default is ports-not-trusted.
