Common Configuration Tasks
Searching for the BOF
The BOF should be on the same drive as the bootstrap image file. If the system cannot load or
cannot find the
else continues with the auto-init mode. The system prompts for a different image and
configuration location.
NOTE: Auto-init is not supported on 7210 SAS-R6. The user must use the starter BOF or create a
BOF manually to boot the system.
The following example displays an example of the output when the boot sequence is interrupted
on 7210 SAS-M/X/T devices .

You must supply some required Boot Options. At any prompt, you can type:
"restart" - restart the query mode.
"reboot"
"exit"
"reset"

Software Location

You must enter the URL of the TiMOS software.
The location can be on a Compact Flash device,
or on the network.
