Description
Platforms Supported: 7210 SAS-T only.
This command enables the context to configure parameters for the Building Integrated Timing Supply
(BITS).

Description
This command provides a context to enable or disable the external BITS timing reference inputs to
the node. User has an option to enable/disable the BITS interface input independently of each other.

• 7210 SAS-R6 supports configuration of only the BITS1 interface for use as an input or output
reference.
• 7210 SAS-T allows for configuration of both BITS1 and BITS2 interface as an input and output
reference.
• On 7210 SAS-T, the BITS1 configuration parameters such as bits-interface-type, line-length,
source-reference, etc. is inherited for BIT2 interface. CLI commands are available that provide
the user an option to administratively control the BITS2 interface, allowing them to shutdown or
enable the BITS2 input and output independently of BITS1 interface. Please read the other CLI
commands for more information.
