To ensure safety, always install an external emergency stop switch across EM1-SG. By disconnecting
EM1-SG, the dynamic brake is operated to bring the servo motor to a sudden stop. At this time, the
display shows the servo emergency stop warning (E6).
During ordinary operation, do not use the external emergency stop signal to alternate stop and run.
Doing so may shorten the life of the servo amplifier.
