BRAKE FLUID REPLACEMENT
For replacing procedure of brake fluid : Refer to page 2-19
BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT
For replacing procedure of brake pad : Refer to page 2-18
CALIPER REMOVAL AND
DISASSEMBLY
Drain brake fluid. (Refer to page 2-19)
CAUTION
To prevent brake fluid from splashing on the
parts nearby, cover the parts with cloth.
Remove the brake hose from the caliper by loosening
the brake union bolt ① and catch the brake fluid in a
suitable receptacle.
Remove the brake pad. (Refer to page 2-18)
NOTE
Place a rag underneath the union bolt on the
brake caliper to catch any spilt brake fluid.
Remove the caliper mounting bolt caps ②.
Remove the brake caliper by loosening the caliper
mounting bolts.
Separate the caliper halves by loosening the caliper
housing bolts ③.
Remove the O-ring ④.
CAUTION
Replace the O-ring with the new one.
