Removing PECs

The following steps describe the process for removing PECs from a BCM1000 MSC.
Ensure you have a current data backup of your system.

Shut down the system using the Shutdown command. For details refer to

Set up the BCM1000 for maintenance, as described in

on page 169.
Attach one end of the grounding strap to your wrist and the other end to a grounded metal

surface.
Grasp the top edge of the PEC you want to remove and pull upward. Refer to
