Clutch Diode - Honda 1998 VT750C Service Manual

ELECTRIC STARTER
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the left side cover (page 2-4).
Disconnect the starter relay 4P connector.
Remove the socket bolts and cables.
Remove the starter relay switch.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CLUTCH DIODE
INSPECTION
Remove the right side cover (page 2-4).
Open the fuse box and remove the diode.
Check for continuity between the diode terminals. DIODE
When there is continuity, a small resistance value
will register.
If there is continuity in one direction, the diode is
normal.
