Disconnect the left handlebar 9P connector.

Disconnect the ignition switch 4P connector (see
above).
Remove the two screws and ignition switch cover.
Remove the two bolts and ignition switch.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Check for continuity between the ignition switch con-
nector terminals in each switch position.
Continuity should exist between the color coded
wires in each chart below.
Remove the seat and left side cover (page 2-4).
Disconnect the ignition switch 4P connector.
