Wheel Bearing Installation; Driven Flange Bearing Installation - Honda 1998 VT750C Service Manual

REAR WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
CAUTION:
WHEEL BEARING INSTALLATION
Pack all bearing cavities with grease.
Never install an old bearing has been removed, the
bearing must be replaced with a new one.

Driver
Attachment, 42 X 47 mm
Pilot,
20 mm
Drive a new left bearing squarely with its sealed side
facing out.
Install the distance collar, then drive in the right side
bearing with its sealed side facing out.
DRIVEN FLANGE BEARING INSTALLATION
Install the driven flange collar to the new driven
flange bearing using the special tools.

COLLAR
Drive the driven flange bearing and collar into the
driven flange using the special tools.
