Insert the tabs on the front drive panel into the cutouts on

Thread the loose ends of the power supply cable and SCSI

If a drive is in the bracket, make sure the ends of the
cables are correctly plugged into the connectors on the
drive. If there is no drive, tuck the ends of the cables into
the bracket.
Carefully lower the end of the bracket onto the two posts

that hold the bracket.
Tighten the two captive screws on the end of the bracket

until they are at least finger tight.
Tighten the two captive screws that hold the front drive

panel on the system unit until they are at least finger tight.
Remove the antistatic wrist strap.

To Install a Removable Media Drive Inside the System Unit

To install a removable media drive in the front drive panel, you
need medium flat-blade and Phillips screwdrivers, and you may
need small needle-nose pliers.

Unpack the removable media drive

Follow the instructions that came with your worksystem

Type cnfg 3 and press Return. The workstation displays

slot 3. Internal disk drives are connected to base slot 3.
