Switch 4 on the RRD40 optical compact disc drive has no effect on the ID number.

Switch 1 (the left switch) on the TLZ04 tape drive should always be in the up
position.

Connect expansion boxes to the system unit

To connect external drives to a SCSI controller, do the following:
Follow the instructions that came with your worksystem

unplug the system unit power cord.
