Turn On the Monitor

Most monitor on/off switches are rocker switches marked 1
for on and 0 for off. Press the 1 to turn on the power. Some
monitors have a push switch instead of a rocker switch. Press
the switch in to turn on the power.

If your monitor receives power from the system unit, the screen
remains blank after you turn on the monitor. The system unit
must be turned on before the screen can display anything.
