To Install External Storage Devices

Connect external storage devices to form a chain, including as
many as seven devices in each chain. Each device must have a
separate SCSI ID number so the workstation can identify the
device.
If your workstation has more than one SCSI connector,
distribute the devices among all the SCSI connectors on the
system unit. For example, if you have seven devices, one base
system SCSI controller, and one TURBOchannel SCSI controller
option module, install three drives on one SCSI connector and
four drives on the other.
