2.4 Machine Speci c Instructions
Cables Required
To connect the HP computer with the
high-density 50 pin D connector on one end and a 50 pin Centronics type connector
on the other end. This may also be called a SCSI-1 to SCSI-2 cable. It should be
available from your HP hardware supplier or can be ordered from your
supplier. Make sure to connect to the HP's external, single-ended SCSI bus. The
DAT-Link
will not work with a di erential or fast/wide SCSI bus.
Choosing a SCSI ID
DAT-Link
