Note that the 1x or 2x speed indicated in the control le or while

do not enforce the playback speed to agree with the recorded speed, this may not
re ect the actual playback speed. It is recommended that the TEAC's speed select
switch be set to the same value as that at which the data was originally recorded.
Transferring Data to the RD1x5T
Data can also be transferred from a host computer to the RD1x5T for recording
onto tape . To set the RD1x5T to accept 16-bit input from the

1. Power on the RD1x5T.
2. Press and hold the small reset button on the rear of the unit just below the
