NAME
dlmkrdy – force a DAT-Link to release its pause output.
SYNOPSIS
dlmkrdy [ –c ] [ –u unit ] [ –D device ]
DESCRIPTION
dlmkrdy connects to the specified DAT-Link unit and forces its pause output to be released. This
allows other DAT-Links connected to the selected one via an external sync cable to be used for play
b
ack or recording independently. Without this, the other units will wait forever for any connected units
to start playback or recording.

o indicate this mode, the left channel red VU LED and right channel yellow LED on the front panel
of the DAT-Link will be illuminated.
OPTIONS

Clear the forced ready state for the specified DAT-Link. Note that use of any other NetAudio
or DAT-Link program will also clear the state.

u unit Specify the DAT-Link unit to use. Default is 0 or the value of the environment variable
if it is set.

Specify the device file to open to access the DAT-Link. The default is /dev/datlinknn where
nn is the DAT-Link unit number.

The NetAudio server, netaudiod(8),
must not be running to use dlmkrdy. This program is supported only by DAT-Link revisions 1.6 or
later.
