Power-OFF and Stopping Server

Note that the procedure of turning the power OFF differs depending on the server boot status.
Refer to the guide accompanied with UPS or the guide for application that controls UPS when
the server is connected to UPS.
The following shows the flow of steps from OS shutdown to power-OFF.
OS Shutdown
Stop the server
Power-OFF
Turn OFF the power of peripherals
When step (1) is performed while OS is running, the steps (2) and (3)
are performed automatically.
When step (2) is performed while OS is not running and the server
is running (BIOS menu, etc.), the step (3) is performed automatically.
There are 4 methods to turn the power OFF by shutting down OS and stopping the server
as shown below.
(1) Shutting down from OS.
(2) Operate the navigation button of EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor and perform the
procedure from Operation Menu.
For A1080a-S Model/A1080a-E Model
● When shutting down OS of Server 1
Go to [Main Menu] -> [All Servers Up/Down] -> [SVRs OS Shutdown] ->
[Execute]
or,
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 OS Shutdown] ->
[Execute].
