Installation Procedure of Network Monitor
1. Download Network Monitor from Microsoft website.

2. Execute the downloaded file and start the installer.
Follow the instructions on the screen to install.
This is the end of the setting up of Network Monitor.
Setup Procedure of Network Monitor
1. Start up Microsoft Network Monitor from Start Menu.
2. Expand "Create a new capture tab..." from "Start Page" or "New" of File Menu, and click
"Capture...".
A new tab for collecting the network trace is created.
3. Select a network to be the acquired on Select Networks screen.
4. Click "Start" on Capture Menu to start collecting the network trace.
5. Click "Stop" on Capture Menu to stop collecting the network trace.
NOTE:
Windows Server 2008 R2 does not include Network Monitor. Setting
up Microsoft Network Monitor provided by Microsoft is required to
collect a network trace in Windows Server 2008 R2.
NOTE:
When "Security Alert" pop-up is displayed, click "Run". On the
screen to select setup method, select "Complete".
