DIMM Sparing

DIMM sparing is one of the RAS functions. This function constantly duplicates the contents of
DIMM having a possibility of failure in a spare DIMM that is prepared separately. In case DIMM
failure occurs, it can protect the contents of DIMM by switching to the spare DIMM immediately.
Set DIMM sparing from "Memory Sparing" in Web Console.
Memory restrictions in using the DIMM sparing function.

 The types and capacities of all DIMMs in PAIRs under memory buffers #1 and #2 must be
the same.
The types and capacities of all DIMMs in PAIRs under memory buffers #3 and #4 must be
the same.
