Processor Mounting Rule

 It is required to embed processors for processor memory modules.
 It is required to that processor memory modules are mounted in a server, connected to IOH#1
or -IOH#3 having Management Module (MGM) that controls server configuration, handles
failures, etc.
 With A1080a-S model, 1, 2, 3, and 4 processors can be embedded to the server 1.
 With A1080a-D model, 1, 2, 3, and 4 processors can be embedded both to the server 1 and 2.
 With A1080a-E model, 8 processors can be embedded to a server.
The following shows the connection of processor memory modules (PMMs) for A1080a-S model.
All processor memory modules can be connected one another. Some I/O controllers (IOHs)
cannot be connected to processor memory modules directly, but can be connected via other
processor modules.

Example) In the four-processor memory module configuration, PMM1 and IOH2 cannot be
connected directly as shown below. However, a PCI card under IOH2 can be used via
PMM2 or PMM4.
For example, the PCI card under IOH2 can be used via PMM4 even in the case of
failure on PMM2.
