Hardware
There are 4 methods to boot the server as shown below.
(1) Operate the navigation button of EXPRESSSCOPE
procedure from Operation Menu (refer to "NEC EXPRESSSCOPE
For A1080a-S Model/A1080a-E Model
● When booting Server 1
Go to [Main Menu] -> [All Servers Up/Down] -> [SVRs Power Up] -> [Execute]
or,
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 Power Up] ->
[Execute].
For A1080a-D Model
● When booting both Serve 1 and Server 2
Go to [Main Menu] -> [All Servers Up/Down] -> [SVRs Power Up] -> [Execute].
● When booting Server 1
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server1] -> [SVR1 Control] -> [SVR1 Power Up] ->
[Execute].
● When booting Server 2
Go to [Main Menu] -> [Server2] -> [SVR2 Control] -> [SVR2 Power Up] ->
[Execute].
(2) Perform the following procedure from Summary (sub menu) after connecting to Server
Web Console (refer to "Server Web Console").
Click "Power ON" button.
(3) Use WOL.
When the computer is installed in a location inaccessible freely such as in a remote location
or server farm, send special packets to the WOL target computer (network adaptor) so that
the network adaptor of the WOL target computer receives the packet and the power can be
turned on.
Refer to the instructions of your utility software for WOL details.
