5. Place a level on the Transducer Deployment System. Confirm it is level
horizontally and vertically. The pod should be parallel with the water. If the
angle needs to be adjusted, return to the section Install the Transducer
Bracket.
6. Fully hand-tighten the nuts and then turn them 1/4 more. Tighten the
transducer bracket hardware securely so that the assembly is stable and
secure. Hand tighten only.
NOTE: It is important to check the tension of the four vertical nuts on the transducer
bracket hardware after initial use and periodically thereafter to ensure that the
Transducer Deployment System remains stable. It is also important to confirm that
the Transducer Deployment System stays level when the boat is on the water.
