4. Battery Fault Indications

When the battery has an internal fault or the battery temperature is not suitable for use, the condition will be notified
by the battery capacity indication lamps.
➜ Internal fault of battery
• Lamp 4 will blink. Consult with the dealer.
• Although charging cannot be performed, operation is possible until the battery is completely discharged.
➜ Inappropiate battery temperature
• Lamps 1, 3, and 5 will blink. Although operation is possible, the remaining capacity in the battery will not be
indicated. It is recommended that the wheelchair not be used until the battery reaches a suitable temperature.
• When the battery has reached a suitable temperature, the lamps 1, 3, and 5 will stop blinking and will return to
indicating the battery capacity.
➜ Battery fuse blown out or contact point failure
• Lamp 3 will blink. Refer to page 23 "Problems during Charging" or page 20 "How to Charge the Battery" for details.

5. After Charging

Protection cap
1) When charging has been completed, remove the charged battery.
WARNUNG
Store the detached battery with the protective cap on. There is a danger of
a short-circuit when the connecting portion is exposed.
2) Unplug the power cord from the outlet by holding the plug portion.
Caution:
Do not pull on the power cord. This can cause breakage to the wires.
3) Storing the battery for a long period
If the battery is stored for a long period, the battery capacity will decrease
due to self discharging. Before using it, recharge any battery that has not
been in use for over one week.
4) Recycling the battery
Dead batteries are valuable resources that can be recycled. Contact the
dealer shop when asking for recycling.
