Removing the driven pulley shaft bearing

- Remove the transmission cover.
- Remove the seeger ring.
- Place transmission cover on a wood surface and
use the special tool so that it is adequately sup-
ported.
- Pull out the bearing using the special tool.
N.B.
BELL MUST BE PLACED INTO THE TRANS-
MISSION COVER, CLOSE TO THE BEARING
SEAT AND THE WOODEN SURFACE, SINCE
WITHOUT BELL THE ENTIRE COVER STRUC-
TURE WOULD BEND. NOT ONLY IN THE AREA
OF MAXIMUM STURDINESS.

Refitting the driven pulley shaft bearing

- Heat the transmission cover interior using the heat gun.
Specific tooling
020151Y Air heater
- Place the bearing onto the special tool with a little grease to prevent it from coming out.
- Install the new bearing using the special tool.
