44. CAUTION: If a new distributor or camshaft position sensor is installed, run engine at idle
for five minutes before driving vehicle.
Dip entire camshaft position sensor drive gear in Engine Assembly Lubricant D9AZ-19579-D or
equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M99C80-A.

Flush to Within ± 1mm
(0.04 In.). Gasket Must Not Protrude Above Highest
Surface
Tighten to 10-14 Nm
(7-10 Lb-Ft)
4-6mm (.15-.23 In.)
