ROUBLESHOOTING
This section describes what to do if your system is not working correctly. Study the following tables to find possible causes
and solutions to the problem.
Problem
Remote doesn't work
Remote will not accept pro-
gramming changes
Remote will not operate at
secondary viewing locations
No sound
Possible Cause
Dead batteries.
Obstruction between the remote
and the RG2200 or IR Transmit-
ter.
Weak batteries.
Weak or dead batteries.
Using wrong remote for that TV.
Obstruction between the remote
and the TV.
MUTE is pressed on the remote
control.
TV code not programmed.
Change the batteries in your remote according to the instructions on page 31.
Make sure that nothing is on or blocking a clear line of sight between the RG2200 and
the remote.
Replace batteries and reprogram.
Replace batteries.
Check remote label to be sure you are using correct remote control.
Make sure that nothing is on or blocking a clear line of sight between the TV and the
remote.
Press MUTE on the remote to restore volume level.
