H.2.6 Configuring the HTTP Settings
You can set up the passwords for SAM, the browser-based interface. In SAM, you can set up two types
of SAM users:
• Monitor: Have access to only the Monitor menu that lets you view the status and statistics pages.
• Manage: Have access to all SAM functions. Only one such user can be logged in at a time to each

SAM permits one manage user to log in to each SM module at the same time. If two users log in this way,
their configuration changes could conflict.
To set the HTTP settings:

From the System Menu, select Configuration Menu and press Enter.
The Configuration Menu displays.

Select LAN Configuration and press Enter.
The LAN Configuration screen displays.

Select HTTP Settings and press Enter.
The HTTP Settings screen displays.

Select the password you want to change and press Enter.
The screen displays related to the password you selected.

Enter the new password you want and press Enter
You can enter up to 15 characters for each password. You can only use letters, numbers, and
underscores.
The system confirms that you want to make the change.

Select Yes and press Enter.
The system makes the change.
