Cause
1. Weak or broken selector return spring
2. Worn shifter forks
1. Worn sliding gear dogs
2. Worn gear grooves
3. Worn dog slots in gears
4. Worn selector shaft splines
5. Worn shifter fork shafts
6. Worn shifter forks
1. Dirty air filter
2. Poor fuel quality
3. Intake coupling loose
4. Spark plug electrode gap too wide
5. Insufficient compression
6. Carburettor main jet clogged or of the wrong size Clean or replace
7. Too much ignition advance
8. Deposits on the exhaust valve
9. Exhaust valve wrongly installed
1. Dirty combustion chamber and/or piston crown
with carbon deposits
2. Insufficient oil in engine or wrong oil
3. Obstructions blocking air flow on radiator
4. Cylinder head gasket leaking
5. The clutch slides
6. Too much ignition delay

2. Porosities inside head dome
