ENGINE OIL (fig. 6-7-8-9-10)
Check engine oil with the car on
level ground and while the engine is
still warm (approximately five min-
utes after stopping the engine).
The oil level should be included be-
tween the MIN and MAX reference
lines on the dipstick.
If the oil level is near or even below
the MIN line, pour in oil through the
filler hole until it reaches the MAX
line.
The oil level must never exceed the
MAX line.

Be very careful under the
bonnet: you risk burning
yourself. Remember that
when the engine is hot, the fan can
start up and cause injuries.

In 1.6 version, lift the upper part of
the cap and remove it.
During the beginning of the car's life
the engine is be tuned in. Engine oil
consumption can only be considered
stabilised after the first 5,000 - 6,000
km.
