HOW TO USE THE CLIMATE
CONTROL SYSTEM
The system can be switched on the
various ways. We recommend start-
ing by pressing the AUTO button and
setting the required temperatures on
the display.
In this way, the system will start
working fully automatically to reach
the required temperature as soon as
possible. It will maintain the temper-
ature by adjusting the amount and
distribution pattern of the air let into
the passenger compartment and man-
age the recirculation function and the
climate control system compressor
(where fitted).
When the system is working auto-
matically, the only possible manual
functions are:
– MONO, to align the passenger's
side temperature to the driver's side
temperature.
– ECON, to switch the climate con-
trol compressor off (where fitted)

– air recirculation function, to
switch the function on and off con-
stantly
– Z for faster window demisting/
defrosting
– ( for demisting/defrosting the
heated rear window and the external
rearview mirrors.
The temperature settings can be
changed at any time during auto-
matic system operation. The system
will automatically adjust to the new
request.
Furthermore, the fan speed and the
air distribution pattern can be
changed by means of the specific but-
tons. In this way, the functions pass
from automatic to manual control un-
til the AUTO button is pressed.
With one or more functions manu-
ally on, the air temperature let into
the passenger compartment is auto-
matically managed by the system un-
less the climate control system com-
pressor is off (where fitted). In this
condition, in fact, the air let into the
passenger compartment cannot have
a lower temperature than that of the
external air.
