Failure warnings
In the event of failure, the instru-
ment cluster warning light
come on together with the message on
the reconfigurable multifunction dis-
play (see section "Warning lights and
messages").
The Hill Holder system is
not a parking brake there-
fore, never leave the car
without engaging the parking
brake, the first gear and turning
the engine off.
During the use of the
spare wheel, the ESP func-
tion carries on working.
However, you must remind that
the spare wheel presents dimen-
sions smaller than the standard
tyre and therefore the grip is re-
duced as to the other car tyres.
For correct operation of
the ESP system, the tyres
must absolutely be of the

same brand and type on all
wheels, in perfect conditions and,
above all, of the type, brand and
size specified.
HBA FUNCTION
Hydraulic Brake Assist
(where provided) HBA
The function, which cannot be cut
out, recognizes emergency braking
(on the ground of the brake pedal op-
eration speed) and considerably in-
creases the pressure in the braking
circuit.
Hydraulic Brake Assist is deacti-
vated on the versions equipped with
ESP, in the event of ESP system fail-
ure (indicated by warning
