FIRMWARE UPDATE

• Wait for the loading process to be completed and confirm

the dictation machine language with »OK«.

Note:

Do not interrupt the loading process for any reason. This

could make the dictation machine inoperative.

• Then format the internal memory or the memory card in

the dictation machine so that memory space is available

for dictations again.

Note:

If you wish to load an old firmware, press the red recor-

ding button » –

»ON/OFF PC« button simultaneously after switching the

Digta on.

»LOAD UPDATE« appears in the display, confirm this with

the »OK« button.

Enabling optional functions

An individual code is available for enabling optional func-

tions. Ask your specialist dealer.

When the dictation machine is connected to the PC,

you can enter the enabling key in the PC software under

»Configuration =

Firmware activation« and send it to the dictation machine.

See also "Program reference, configuration" in the PC soft-

ware Help function.

Then disconnect the dictation machine from the PC and switch

it on. The optional functions are enabled.
