• Press the »MENU« button and then use the up-down
button » « or » « to select the »Settings« menu item
and confirm with »OK«.
You can select the following settings:

– Play-back
– Voice activ.
– Mic. sensitivity
– PC microphone
– Power off
– Audio signals
– Illumination

– Foot control
– Time, Date
Selects the function of the middle
button (speed or index) during play-
back.
Voice activation. Recording is auto-
matically interrupted when the spea-
ker pauses.
Sets the sensitivity of the microphone.
Activates the dictation machine as a
microphone (without recording)
when it is connected to a PC sound
card. This function is used for spea-
ker training and direct dictation with
a speech recognition system.
Selects manual or automatic
shutdown.
Switch signal tones on or off.
Switches the display lighting on/off.
Selects the functions of the foot con-
trol for recording or play-back.
Sets the date and time (timestamp
for dictations).
