Insert 2 AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment and make sure that the polarity is correct. At first, the Diginotice Pro is in “STOP mode”. Please first set the clock – see “Settings – Date and time”. Battery display If the battery symbol flashes on the display and 3 warning tones can be heard, the batteries need to be replaced.

PREPARATIONS___________________ Selection folders Every time you press the “MENU” button in basic state, the next folder in the cycle A A… is selected. Folders A to D are for recording voice data. RECORDING _____________________ Starting to record • First press the menu button to select a target folder (A...D) for the recording. To start the recording, press the “REC/PAUSE” button. During the recording, the red LED stays on and the display shows the actual recording time in hours, minutes and seconds.
PLAYBACK _______________________ Starting to play • After selecting a folder, the file to be played can be selected by moving the jog shuttle to position. The currently selected file appears on the display (13). • After selecting a DVR file, first the length of the file, then the date / time of the recording and then again the actual time are shown on the display.

PLAYBACK _______________________ Playback speed (SPEED) • Change the playback speed of a recording to play it faster or slower. • The display indicates “SPE 10” (normal). Speeds can be set between 5 (slow) and 20 (fast). • The playback speed is changed using on the jog shuttle.

DELETING FILES __________________ Deleting the currently selected file • Use on the jog shuttle to select the file to be deleted in the current folder. • Press the “ERASE” button. o The “ONE” symbol flashes on the display and the file is played.

SETTINGS _______________________ Activating a voice-activated recording (VA SET) The Diginotice provides you with the option of automatically starting the recording if a voice or noise source is registered (“voice activation”). Use the voice activation option to generate recordings without operating the device and without any interfering interruptions.
