2.Open or short circuit in the wiring harness.
3.Malfunction or open circuit in fuel injection
system relay
4.Connected state of connector
Inspect the coupler for any pins that may
have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the coupler.

1.Malfunction in ECU
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom The ECU is unable to monitor the battery voltage.
Fuel injection system relay is on.
Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
Main wiring harness
Red - Red
Red/Black - Red/Black
Red/Blue - Red/Blue
Blue/Yellow - Blue/Yellow
Replace if defective.
Refer to "FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM" in
chapter 7.
If there is no malfunction with the fuel injection
system relay, replace the ECU.
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.

Symptom Faulty ECU memory. (When this malfunction is detected in the ECU, the
fault code number might not appear on the meter.)
Replace the ECU.
