Spring preload
CAUTION:

Never go beyond the maximum or mini-
mum adjustment positions.
1. Adjust:
• spring preload
NOTE:
Adjust the spring preload with the special
wrench.

a. Loosen the locknut 1.
b. Turn the spring preload adjusting nut 2 in
direction a or b.

Minimum: 40.5 mm (1.59 in)
Standard: 42.5 mm (1.67 in)
Maximum: 51.5 mm (2.03 in)
CAUTION:

Never turn the spring preload adjusting nut
beyond the maximum or minimum setting.
