Used diagnostic code No. 55 (decompression solenoid)
Inspection operation item and probable cause Operation item and countermeasure
1.Installed state of decompression solenoid
2.Open or short circuit in wiring harness or
sub lead.
3.Connected state of connector
Inspect the coupler for any pins that may
have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the coupler.
4.Malfunction in decompression solenoid
Check the operating sound or that the warn-
ing light is on 5 times with engine stop
switch ON and start switch ON.
Malfunction in thermistor
Code No. 30
Used diagnostic code No. 08 (lean angle cut-off switch)

1.The motorcycle has overturned.
2.Installed state of the lean angle cut-off
switch
3.Connected state of connector
Inspect the coupler for any pins that may
have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the coupler.
4.Defective lean angle cut-off switch
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom Electricity is not circulated to the decompression solenoid (open or short
circuit in thermistor is detected)
Check the installed area for looseness or
pinching.
Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
Main wiring harness
Thermistor side
Black/Red - Black/Red
Green/Blue - Green/Blue
Solenoid side
Gray/Red - Gray/Red
Light green - Light green
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.
Decompression solenoid coupler
Main wiring harness ECU coupler
Replace if defective.
Refer to "ELECTRIC STARTING SYSTEM" in
chapter 7.
Check the resistance value
Refer to "ELECTRIC STARTING SYSTEM" in
chapter 7.
Symptom The motorcycle has overturned.
Raise the motorcycle upright.
Check the installed area for looseness or
pinching.
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.
Lean angle cut-off switch coupler
Main wiring harness ECU coupler
Replace if defective.
