S Connect the pocket tester (Ω
as shown.
S Measure the field coil resistance.

S Is the field coil OK?
YES

S Check the mian switch for continuity.
Refer to "CHECKING THE SWITCHES".
S Is the main switch OK?

8. Wiring
S Check the wiring connections of the entire
charging system.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
S Is the charging system's wiring properly con-
nected and without defects?
NO
Properly connect or
repair the charging
system's wiring.

Replace the field coil.

Replace the main
switch.
