ANSWERING CALLS

Message Waiting : if an extension has tried to call you and left a message waiting request, you will have either a flashing FTR
key or MW lamp or the Indicator lamp will be flashing green.
To answer a message waiting request
-
- Dial 8 4 1
The system will automatically call the extension leaving the message waiting and will clear the MW indication when the two
parties have connected (requires the called party to go off hook or press the SPK key).
Meet-me-Page: you may be requested to answer a meet-me-page call which is announced over an internal/external paging group
To answer a meet-me-page
-
- Dial 8 6 3 if you are in the same paging group as announced
8 6 4 and the paging group number (if it is not your group)
or
8 6 5 and the external zone 0 - 8 ) as announced
or
You will be connected to the calling party
Doorphone : a doorphone on the system may be programmed to ring at your extension.
To answer a doorphone

Virtual Extensions † : A virtual extension lets a key telephone have more than one extension number and calls can be routed to
virtual extensions which must appear on programmed function keys
To answer a virtual extension call
-
- Press flashing virtual extension key
To open the doorlock, whilst talking to the doorphone
Key telephone
- Press the FLSH key
Single Line Telephone
- Press the Recall key
